The simplicity of Defibrillation training really does represent how easy these devices actually are to use. Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) are now starting to become very much “the norm” in certain workplaces and work environments. This truly marvellous piece of equipment actually gives a unconscious casualty that is not breathing up to 8 times the chance of survival if used in the first 4 minutes.  The training is delivered in a way so even someone with no resuscitation experience or training can operate this device safety within a maximum of 4 hours. Training can be delivered with us at one of our training centres or we can come and deliver the training with you.

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is suitable for any workplace that has access to an AED or if you would like to know how to use one of the many public access defibrillators now becoming available across the country.

The Course covers

• Defibrillator characteristics
• Specification of your defibrillator
• Any maintenance points (usually just dates on Pads etc)
• Primary survey
• Basic life support
• Safe use of an AED
• Recovery position
• After care of a defibrillated casualty
• Reporting your defibrillator use
• Operator after care

What is the qualification?

Automated External Defibrillator operator qualification valid for 12 months.
